In 2003 Liam UiCearbhaill started making dies for Quick Silver Mint, a jeweler who offers custom coins and medallions. In the intervening years he has made a variety of dies for a variety of customers using Type3 by Vision Numeric. Here are some samples of the dies that Liam has produced showing different types of dies as well as different methods. This die was developed for a customer in the Caribbean from a simple line drawing.

The tiger was carved in wax by the client and a plastic mold was drawn from the carving. Here is a digitized version of the mold.
Here stripes and whiskers to the artwork have been added.

Finally, the client wanted leaves added for framing.
